In last few decades, development of industrial, agricultural, port and tourism activities and increase in human settlements in coastal zones have generated problems in some local area like Ensenada de La Paz (Méndez ., 1998; Shumilin ., 2001) because they are receiving all types of wastes, which alter the natural balance of ecosystems and contribute to the degradation of the environment (Villanueva and Botello, 1998; Walker ., 2001).
